BLAZER5 GAMING OPENS THE SWITCH TOURNAMENT WITH A STRONG WIN AND CLOSE LOSS

April 12, 2023 -Blazer5 battled it out in their first matches of THE SWITCH tournament, which showcased players Jomar, Harby, and KayAus taking on Hawks Talon GC and Mavs Gaming.

Against Hawks Talon GC, B5 started strong with a 22-15 win and continued their fierce play with a series of close matches within a four-point reach. B5 ultimately fell to Hawks Talon GC with one win and three close losses.

Following the match-up, B5 was victorious over Mavs Gaming with three out of five match wins, including a fourteen-point victory with a 22-8 match win. The final match also saw Harby score his career and season high at 22 points.

The week of April 5, also saw the epic collaboration between B5 and Japanese artist, Shion Minabe, with the creation of comic book renderings of the entire B5 roster. The Shion and B5 collaboration can be found on B5’s Instagram and Twitter @blazer5gaming.

The stage is set for this week’s games which will first see B5 take on Pistons GT and Heat Check Gaming on April 12. Then B5 has an opportunity for redemption as they play Hawks Talon GC alongside Heat Check Gaming on April 13. April 14 will conclude open play for THE SWITCH tournament as B5 battles Pistons GT and Mavs Gaming.
