BLAZER5 GAMING BEGIN PLAY IN THE SWITCH OPEN

April 6, 2023 -Blazer5 Gaming kicks off THE SWITCH tournament on April 6 against Hawks Talon GC having previously won ten of twenty-five matches in THE SLAM Tournament. THE SWITCH will showcase the skillset of Harby, Jomar and KayAus, in a 3v3 match-up across eight games with bracket play on April 26-29 and the playoffs and finals on May 10-13. Both bracket play, playoffs and finals will be held in Washington D.C.

The talented B5 roster features Andron “Lavish” Thomas and Jomar “Jomar” Varela-Escapa returning for their second season with B5 and sixth 2K League season overall. Rounding out the team are three new players to the B5 roster: third-year player Austin “KayAus” Caterino with rookies Claude “Claude” Knight and Isaiah “Harby” Harbinson.

The 2023 season is split between the Eastern and Western Conference and is newly formatted with a total of twenty-eight regular season 3v3 and 5v5 games to be played over the course of eight-weeks. Competing in the Western Conference, B5 started off the four week 3v3 season featuring Claude, Harby, and Lavish with eight regular season games in THE SLAM and are now focusing on the next 3v3 tournament with eight regular games in THE SWITCH.

The conclusion of THE SWITCH Tournament will signal the start of the 5v5 season with twelve regular season games, starting with THE TIPOFF Tournament before THE TURN Tournament. The 5v5 gameplay will feature the entire roster of B5.
