To support our mission, we are seeking a Blazer5 Talent & Logistics Manager, who will contribute to the broader organization for the NBA 2K League team. As the Blazer5 Talent & Logistics Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the players, managing team housing, and representing the team both internally & externally.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing the Blazer5 NBA 2K League team
- Coordinating and managing logistics associated with team and talent-related functions
- Managing day-to-day schedules associated with the team and talent
- Monitoring on-site property and equipment on a 24-hour basis along with resolving issues as they arise.
- Managing an inventory of on-site property, and making requests as necessary
- Ensuring the essential needs of players are taken care of, including residing with players
- Ensuring a clean living and working space in alignment with brand standards
- Ensuring player’s nutritional needs are being taken care of
- Managing day-to-day requests of players or their agents
- Acting as the liaison for the Blazer5 team and key interfaces within the organization
- Interfacing with other departments to assist in the coordination of special projects, events, or other functions
- Actively assisting players in brand-building and personal content creation or growth
- Tracking team progress
- Ensuring both team and individual growth
You are qualified if:
- You have experience managing, coaching, and/or developing a team
- You have a deep understanding of NBA 2K and/or basketball
- You have an understanding of esports
- You have the ability to structure, coordinate, and setup team practice with support for livestreaming and other team-related digital content
- You have an understanding of health and nutrition as it pertains to sports
- You have an understanding of psychology as it pertains to sports
- You are a strong communicator, and able to work in a diverse team
- You can demonstrate the ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a demanding environment
- Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from a four-year university; or one year to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
