Leader of the Month – Aiden Alexandria Phillipa Fraser

Aiden Alexandria Phillipa Fraser joined the Oregon Army National Gard in 2008 in order to connect to the community and continue to serve. Aiden initially transferred from Active Duty Marine Corps to deploy with the Guard and has been in ever since. A friend told them that the Guard would be an amazing way to keep serving and do something for the State at the same time.

Aiden enlisted as an 88M (Motor Vehicle operator) and later served as a logistician, team leader, squad leader, platoon sergeant, gunner, recovery mechanic, armorer, marksmanship coach, base operations NCO, and range control NCO, over 20 years combined as an Active Duty Marine and National Guardsman. Although the military has primarily encompassed Aiden’s life, they’re also a certified Wildland Firefighter and are working towards becoming a certified therapist as well as EMT. Aiden is an avid hiker and lover of all animals big and small. You can most likely find them outdoors, tinkering with their ’66 Mustang, exploring a bookstore or whiskey distillery. If not in those places, Aiden can likely be found teaching or mentoring Soldiers as they believe knowledge is something to always pass on.
